I'm a freelance copywriter who can now work from anywhere there's wifi (and coffee... can't forget coffee).

I write in the health and wellness space, mostly for doctors, on subjects I am deeply passionate about. I don't have a medical degree and I didn't have experience writing before I got started.

I chose health and wellness because I was passionate about spreading information that would help people live healthier lives. To say I'm blessed is truly an understatement.

But my life wasn't always that way...

My first two jobs were as a research associate, where I was half working in the lab and half in the field. I literally had a summer of such labor intensive work I would have to change my clothes at lunch because they would be soaked with sweat all the way through. While I'm a pretty strong person who loves a good challenge, I knew this wasn't sustainable. How much longer until I was physically worn out?

Even the office work was pretty miserable. In the winters, I would go to work in the dark and come home in the dark. The office's fluorescent lighting felt like it was penetrating my soul as I counted down the days until my next three day weekend or vacation. I was surrounded by people who were constantly complaining about their job, their life.

I had this underlying feeling that I was worth more. I just didn't know which direction to go.

I started looking at my options and quickly saw that if I wanted to make more money in my world, I was going to have to go back to school - get a masters, maybe a PhD and rack up student loans.

Ugh.

I did NOT want to go back to school. Not because I don't love learning, but because it was going to cost tens of thousands of dollars and the dent it would put in my paycheck didn't seem worth it.

It felt like a step backward, not a step forward.

Not to mention, even with a masters I was going to have wait my turn in line to dutifully earn my raises year after year. You know the drill. Get my two weeks vacation, get my annual raise (if I'm lucky), and all for what? For a job that was just - meh.

There had to be another way.

The next few years were filled with trial and error. Loads of mistakes and huge learning experiences. A roller coaster of career choices complete with ups and downs.

Fortunately, I eventually found copywriting.

But making it a full time job that provided reliable income was another story. I sifted through the noise and found what worked and what didn't.

And this is precisely why I'm qualified to teach you, not because I did it perfectly, but because I did it imperfectly.

I figured out what truly matters, what doesn't, and where to devote your most precious resource - your time.

Once I locked in this process, I went from making less than 1k a month as a part-time writer (barely confident enough to call myself a copywriter at that point) to making what I make today.

This transformation took 5 months.

Talking about how much I make always makes me squirm a bit, and the online marketing world is flooded with people boasting about their income, which really grosses me out. But I know if you're going to switch career paths, you're going to want to know what's possible. So, now I make a comfortable, reliable living - making between 14-16k each month.

And there are plenty of copywriters out there that make much more than me!

But then there are those that are barely scraping by, as I was.

What's the difference between those that make it and those that don't?

I found the difference during those transformative months - this is when I shifted from living the life of a freelancer who was barely making it, to a rock solid business owner. This difference is EVERYTHING. You can be a good writer and not make money, there are plenty of people doing this. You can also be a mediocre writer and make a killing.

The difference is adopting an entrepreneur mindset, thinking and acting like a business owner, constantly reinvesting in yourself and your skills, staying adaptable, and building a reputation with integrity at its core. In my course, I go into each of these with great detail so you can become a freelance writer yourself.

I wanted freedom, reliability, stability, happy clients who loved my work, and something to get excited about when I woke up in the morning.

I've found that in copywriting and I've helped others find this too.

Now, it's your turn.

Finally, I've compiled the formula for an enjoyable, sustainable freelance copywriting career.

I've done the hard work. I've made the big mistakes, so you don't have to.

This course lays out a path for you - from getting your first clients, to building your portfolio, to cultivating an entrepreneur mindset, and finding your work flow.

My Mission

I believe so many of us are limited only because there aren't enough resources to confidently pave new paths. As a result, too many are stuck in jobs we hate, with toxic work environments, long commutes, limited family time, student loans, and disappointed by the limitations in front of us - how much money we can make, how much vacation time we can take, and how far we can go within our career.

It doesn't have to be this way.

Degrees sometimes build us an imaginary cage - limiting us psychologically and financially. Believing we have to stay the course because we committed so much time, energy, and money to our degree. Daily headlines are confirming our suspicions - the job market is oversaturated with bachelor degrees.

You'll probably be surprised to discover that you'll likely make more money writing than working at your current job. On top of this, there is a growing need for copywriters in every industry and the demand is only growing.

My mission is to give you the tools you need to confidently ramp up your writing career until you can comfortably make it as a full time freelance writer.

I hope to start you on a journey to a more fulfilling life with your values at the center of your day.

What's most important to you?

  • Having more freedom?

  • Making more money?

  • Spending time with your family?

  • The ability to work from anywhere?

  • Helping people?

  • Giving back to the world?

It's amazing how life unfolds when your true values are honored.

Copywriting has given me a life where I get to help people everyday - each morning it makes me so stoked to start the day!

I know it can do the same for you.
